Promote local artists by producing a compilation recording of local music.2. Provide funds for Art Education to Schools in Alamance County through Alamance Citizens for Education.... 3. Provide Elon University students with real world opportunities in the realm of marketing, promotions, sales, and community involvement.This project will give Alamance County musicians the opportunity to showcase their talents while giving back to our community. 100% of all proceeds from this recording will go to Alamance Citizens for Education (ACE).ACE's mission is to ensure all Alamance County public school students have access to a quality education by raising awareness, coordinating resources and garnering community support. From the proceeds of this project, ACE will establish a grant making process for any Alamance County Public School who may seek support for the fine arts.Purpose Statement: The purpose of this joint project between Elon University, Alamance Citizens for Education and local artists is to serve our community of Alamance County by highlighting the importance of art education. A rich and broad education for our students will lead to a stronger more vital community now and in the future.
